I have noticed that people are cautious about revealing the music they listen to.
I was on a job interview recently and the person interviewing me asked me about my interests. I mentioned music.
"Oh, What do you listen to"
Oh..man what do I tell him? What would be safe? He was quite a bit younger than me...so I quickly came up with Wilco. "Oh yeah, he said, you probably like Ryan Adams also, he has a new CD coming out!"
