I Can Smell the Chemicals

O, migraine induced light sensitivity! If only there was an acoustic cover of an 80s one-hit wonder to soothe my aching head...

Everything Old is New Again

After seeing Robert's challenge over at the Radish to come up with 38 songs for 38 years (his 37th birthday having recently passed), it was just too irresistible to pass up. It was actually quite fun coming up with a good list. There are lots of familiar tunes here, I tended to go with well-known selections but they all sound great. So great, in fact that some of the modern tunes seem to lack the freshness of their predecessors. This is why I love music so much.

Listen to 38 Songs::38 Years, for Robert.

Playlist in the comments.

the sea is foaming like a thousand pound keg

Shamelessly stolen from someone else's blog, I present to you:

Jay-Zeezer: The Black and Blue Album

I'm such a sucker for the mash-ups.

Eventually we will return to your regularly scheduled playlists and albums. The boys (well, I'm not sure they're both boys but I have a pretty good idea) over at rhapmusic have been getting rather prolific, I'm sure they can take care of you in the meantime.

Oh, and thanks to Chris at worthy->MUSIC for pointing out that there is an update to Rhapsody. Not sure what it entails exactly but you have to go to Help > Check for updates... to get it.
